Mark Reeves has always had a keen interest in and passion for leadership, physical and outdoor education and health and wellbeing which is reflected in his qualifications including a BA specialising in Recreation, Post Graduate degree in Organisational Change and Graduate Diploma in Education. He has certification in Outdoor Pursuits from Plas-Y-Brennin in North Wales in the UK.

He has held a range of positions including Director of Outdoor Education at St Michael’s St Kilda, and Director of Marshmead Residential Year Nine School at MLC.

In 2000 he was appointed as the foundation principal of the Alpine School in Dinner Plain. The school was an initiative of the Kennett Government which aimed to offer a residential program for Year 9 students at government schools where students could experience the multiple challenges of developing leadership skills, their own personal development and outdoor education.

Kylie MoroneyKylie comes with a background of circus skills and musical theatre. With a degree in Performing Arts, she has spent 15 years working in theatre as a stage manager. During this time, she discovered a passion for outdoor adventure whilst trekking mountains in Nepal, which has lead Kylie to her role at the School for Student Leadership.

Andrea MoloneyAndrea is the office manager for the Gnurad Gundidj Campus. She has a background in libraries and administration. Andrea is a local and lives on a diary farm with her partner Phillip – only 2 minutes from Gnurad Gundidj.

Christine James Print E-mail

Christine JamesChristine James was born on 29th February 1956, which makes her 13 years old. She was raised in McLeod, a Melbourne suburb and lived at the same address until she married and moved to Terang and lived on a diary farm in 1980. She now lives just 10 minutes from campus as has called Terang home for the past 20 years.

Cheryl HelmanCheryl grew up in Melbourne, lived in Gippsland and now resides in Warrnambool with her family. She has 4 children, all boys and all living at home. As a family they enjoy travelling and have been actively involved hosting exchange students.

After overcoming cancer a couple of years ago, Phil strives to live life to the full and is not afraid of trying new things and let opportunities pass him by and he encourages his students to do the same.
