After a couple of weeks the students are ready to articulate how they will operate as a community and they develop an agreement to show their commitment. In an evening class, they brainstorm the types of guiding statements they would like to see on the CA and then have a few days to think about it and make any suggestions. This term statements such as the following appear on the CA. The pictures show the students each signing the agreement. This document forms a powerful tool that assists with conflicts and tensions as well as, and most importantly, help to translate our values into action.
